Phil Strader wins BIG at Steel Challenge

USSA's own Phil Strader is the new Steel Shallenge world champion in both the limited and rimfire iron sights divisions. Along with Phil's unbelievable comeback from a five second deficit after his first stage on Showdown, he set three world records on Smoke & Hope (8.14), Speed Option (10.81), and Five to Go (10.29). Phil certainly showed total iron sight dominance at the 2008 Steel Challenge.

"I started the match off over five seconds in the hole with a disastrous start on Showdown. By lunch I had fought back to 2.5 seconds back. The next two stages, Five to Go and Speed Option had pulled me back to even with JJ Racaza. A strong finish on Accelerator put me on top by just over a second to win the limited title."

2008 PRO-AM Championship

It's Official! Phase one is complete!

On June 14, 2008 at 3:06pm, it became official..the United States Shooting Academy phase one construction is complete!

Our first low light firing techniques seminar has reached capacity and we will not be able to accept any more students for the night shoot scheduled for June 28th. This class filled quickly which proves once again that you are as serious as we are when it comes to regular training, learning new skills, and continuously improving your mind, body, and skill sets to “Win the Fight." Look for many more members only activities to come in the upcoming months. Be sure to sign up early.
