RE: Coronavirus (COVID-19
To our customers,
Like so many of you, we continue learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. For US Shooting Academy, that means understanding how it affects our employees, customers and communities, and then making the necessary adjustments to our work and operations.
We have one simple objective that guides us: keeping you and our employees safe. This has been at the center of our conversations every step of the way. With that in mind, we have made several moves in our business in response to the threat of the coronavirus.
We have ramped up cleaning services at our range and adding hand sanitizer at the front entrance and at the front desk. Our restrooms are for use by our customers and are supplied with hand soap and paper towels. We encourage everyone to wash their hands frequently.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick or are returning from an area of the world identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk. Per CDC recommendations, we will ask employees who have traveled to such locations or have been exposed to others who have traveled to such locations to self-quarantine for 14 days.
US Shooting Academy is known around the world and we receive visitors from all parts of the globe, even some from areas especially hit by the COVID-19 virus. Everyone should be aware of this when visiting the range. We welcome everyone to visit our facility and we want you to enjoy your time here, but we ask anyone who plans to visit the range and who has visited infected areas of the world to also self-quarantine for 14 days, again to do what we can to help prevent the spread of the illness.
In the meantime, the USSA range remains open for use. Our scheduled classes, programs and matches will continue. The instructors and leaders of each of these events will make their own decisions about scheduling and we will announce their decisions as they are made. Watch our calendar on our web site at USShootingAcademy.com and our posts on our Facebook page for the latest information.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and do all we can to protect you and our employees. If you have any ideas about how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at USSA, please share them – we are in this together.
