This course is for LADIES only! This introductory course is perfect for the female gun owner who desires to learn more about the safety and operation of a handgun. You will experience this course at a moderately relaxed pace and solely with other females. You will spend time in both the classroom and on the firing range. Come experience this fun, informative course in a completely non-threatening learning environment. You will definitely leave this course feeling much more confident about your abilities with a handgun.
Just a few of the critical elements include, but are not limited to:
- Firearms safety in the vehicle, work and at home
- Firearm locking devices and methods to prevent unauthorized access
- Explanation on the types and components of handgun ammunition
- Cleaning, maintenance, inspection and safe storage of firearms
- Fundamentals of basic shooting skills
- Physiological/Psychological reactions, inoculation to stress
- Exciting News! When you graduate as a USSA Alumni, you will receive a free 30 day trial membership to the USSA range!
Gear and ammunition requirements:
- Safe and serviceable Semi-Automatic or Revolver - free handgun rental available if needed
- 2 magazines if using a Semi-Automatic
- 200 rounds of ammunition
- Billed or brimmed hat
- Sunscreen and insect repellant
- Eye and ear protection

Students who exhibit unsafe behavior or fail to adhere to the USSA range and safety regulations will be warned, and then removed from class if they continue the unsafe behavior. Students removed from class will NOT receive a refund on their tuition.
