This incredibly detailed course was designed for individual or team members of the law enforcement, military, and civilian teams who require training and preparation to assume duties on a personal security detail, fixed sight security detail, or counter assault team attached to a PSD detail. Students completing the entire three module course will receive a complete spectrum of material needed to ensure that they have the skills to effectively provide security in a variety of environments. Please be advised that a minimum of 10 students must be registered for the USSA 451 PSD preparatory course scheduled for September 20-30 2010. Please understand that a minimum of 10 students must be registered NO LATER THAN Aug 2 2010 for this course to be conducted. If registration is less than the minimum 10 students on Aug 2 2010, the registered students will be contacted by USSA Program Management to make arrangements for rescheduling and or refunds.
Gear and ammunition requirements:
• This is a specialized course and a gear list will be sent out prior to training. However, the following equipment will definitely be needed for the course:
- Handgun, Holster, Magazine Pouches(2) and at least 3 magazines
- 750 rounds of handgun ammunition
- Rifle, sling, rifle magazine pouch and at least 3 magazines
- 750 rounds of rifle ammunition
Students who exhibit unsafe behavior or fail to adhere to the USSA range and safety regulations will be warned, and then removed from class if they continue the unsafe behavior. Students removed from class will NOT receive a refund on their tuition.
