Purpose: This intensive two-day course was designed to place the student in realistic daylight, low-light, and one handed survival situations and to advance their tactical training beyond any other in the industry.

Each and every skill you have learned from Tactical Handgun 210 will be thoroughly tested and expanded in this course. This course will cover highly advanced techniques and will require an elevated level of skill to maintain a safe range. Extensive one-handed marksmanship and survival manipulation techniques will be covered. Students will be drilled on all the aspects of high-speed weapon manipulation with one and two hands at ranges from extreme close quarters to long distance shooting. Non-lethal ammunition (marking cartridges) will be used in this course to test individual skills, in a variety of real-world scenarios. Your training will be conducted using some of most advanced target systems in the world.

A few of the elements covered in this course:



  • Shooting with one hand (strong and support is assumed injured or in use)

  • Manipulating the weapon with one hand only (survival shooting drills)

  • Extreme close quarter positions

  • Extreme accuracy drills (hostage shot with handgun or rifle)

  • Shooting in Low light/ flashlight drills

  • Problem solving from different platforms (vehicle, airplane seat, etc.)

  • Problem solving and Reactive drills with non-lethal training ammo

  • Simple and Effective room movement and clearing tactics

  • Transitioning to a secondary weapon (backup gun)

  • Close Quarters Problem solving (weapon retention, grounded weapon retention, defensive positions)

Gear and ammunition requirements:

Note: We recommend you bring pants to this course for the one handed weapon manipulation. 


  • Safe and serviceable Semi-Auto or Revolver handgun. (no .22 caliber handguns)

  • Safe and serviceable back up gun (if owned, student choice)

  • 4 magazines (five if Single Stack), or 8 speed loaders for revolver.

  • Handgun ammunition: 750 - 1000 rounds of standard ammunition depending on student skill level.

  • Belt, Holster, and at least two magazine pouches (3 if single stack)

  • Baseball Style hat

  • Knee and elbow pads 

  • Sunscreen and insect repellant

  • Serviceable flashlight, with thumb activated switch (in addition to weapon mounted flashlight if student deploys/uses one)

  • Heavy sweatshirt and/or clothing that can get marked up by non-lethal training ammunition.

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Groin Protection

  • Mouth Piece (if desired, this is a dynamic course!)



Students who exhibit unsafe behavior or fail to adhere to the USSA range and safety regulations will be warned, and then removed from class if they continue the unsafe behavior. Students removed from class will NOT receive a refund on their tuition.
