Detailed Course Description: The United States Shooting Academy is proud to announce that I.C.E. Training owner and lead instructor Rob Pincus will be offering this exciting one day training opportunity at USSA.
This course is the last day of Rob's four day heralded Combat Focus Shooting / Advanced Pistol Handling class and addresses Combat Focus Carbine. If you wish to attend the entire four day course click here for the 951 class.
This intense program applies the principles of the Combat Focus Shooting Program to the world of semi-automatic rifles. Stressing efficiency, working with what the body does naturally, and training in context, Combat Focus Carbine is a progressive and dynamic course.
Students will engage in a variety of shooting drills and maneuvers designed to make their shooting (sighted and unsighted) more intuitive. In addition to the fundamentals of close quarters defensive rifle, students will be guided through handling techniques, transitions to back up weapons, and understanding how a variety of factors affect their balance between speed and precision with a carbine.
Improvised shooting positions for enhanced precision capabilities (smaller targets & ranges out to 300 yards) will also be covered.
Exciting News!: When you graduate as a USSA Alumni, you will receive a free 30 day trial membership to the USSA range!
Note: Due to the specialized nature of this course, no discounts will be offered. Please do not utilize any USSA discount codes when enrolling for the course(s).
Gear and ammunition requirements:
A detailed gear list will be sent out prior to the course
Students who exhibit unsafe behavior or fail to adhere to the USSA range and safety regulations will be warned, and then removed from class if they continue the unsafe behavior. Students removed from class will NOT receive a refund on their tuition.
